Members of the family unit, such as partners or dependent children, can be included under the primary visa application.
In certain situations, a partner can be added to the same visa at a later date. For instance, if a subclass 485 visa holder marries a student visa holder, the student visa holder can apply for the subclass 485 visa as a subsequent applicant. Once the subclass 485 visa is granted, the student visa is replaced with the subclass 485 visa. This principle applies to most other visas as well.
Documentary evidence proving your relationship is essential for the success of this application. If you want us to add you to your partner's subclass 485, please get in touch. We can easily handle this process on your behalf.

Skilled Migration Program
Skilled Migration Program
Most permanent visas are offered under this program, in addition to family visas. The Department of Home Affairs has defined a list known as the Skilled Occupations List, which comprises the skills required by the Australian economy.
Please contact us if your studies and work experience align with one of these in-demand skills. We can assess your eligibility and points and provide you with candid advice about your chances of being accepted into this program.
Subclass 189 is a permanent visa granted by the federal government. Once obtained, applicants can live anywhere in Australia without visa limitations. However, the application process is lengthy. Three essential criteria must be met to apply for subclass 189.
1- Skill Assessment
You must select an occupation (ANZCO) from the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills list. Each occupation on the list has specific assessment criteria and an assessing authority. While assessment requirements may vary, you are generally required to have a bachelor's degree and sometimes at least one year of work experience. Assessments typically take around three months and cost approximately 1000 AUD. The Department of Home Affairs will verify and accept your degree and work experience upon successful skill assessment.
2- English Language Requirement
This visa requires a minimum level of English proficiency. You need to take a language test and achieve the required minimum score. However, a higher score will increase your chances of reaching the next step. A competent level of English is considered a score of at least six in all sections of the IELTS test or 50 points in each section of the PTE test.
UK, USA, Canada, NZ, and Ireland passport holders are exempt from this requirement.
3- Invitation Letter.
Invitation letters are issued through rounds of invitations. The federal government determines the total number of permanent visas granted each year. Subsequently, individuals with the required skills are invited based on industry demands.
To receive the invitation letter, you must lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI). Points are awarded based on your age, education, work experience, English language skills, and marital status. You need to score a minimum of 65 points to lodge an EOI.
After you lodge your Expression of Interest (EOI), your profile is placed in a queue with others in the same occupation code. Invitations are then issued based on the time of lodgment and the number of points scored. Priority is given to individuals with higher points, and those who applied earlier with the same points are given the next priority.
An expression of interest application does not grant you a bridging visa.
After completing a skills assessment and English proficiency test and receiving a visa invitation, the next and final step is to apply for the visa. It's important to note that this application is complex and requires the submission of adequate documentation.
We can assist you through these challenging steps; contact us for guidance.
